Juvederm

Juvederm is a naturally occurring gel substance called hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a component in subcutaneous tissues and maintains hydration and plumpness of the skin. The quantities in the skin decrease as we mature.

Juvederm is injected just under the skin to restore fullness and reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles. It is used cosmetically to add volume to the lips and recontour the mouth. It can be used to soften circles under the eyes, and to soften the nasolabial folds (the lines extending from the corners of the nose to the corners of the mouth).
